Harvest Runner
During my last weaving retreat, one of the weavers asked about weaving with wool, using wool for a warp and weft, felting, etc. So, I put on a wool warp in browns for some samples.
Well, the samples turned into some harvest runners – which were perfect for hostess gifts at Thanksgiving.

Yay Saori! Anything goes. The runners ‘dance’ – reflect the season and the occasion of Thanksgiving. Wool does work well for warp; mens ties, intact, make a unique weft. Yay, again, Saori!
I was immediately taken by the appealing warmth and muted colors
of this “Harvest Runner”. It would be perfect on a Fall/Thanksgiving
table with an autumn-colored candles and foliage centerpiece – – –
which it was!! What a wonderful surprise gift!!
It was even more wonderful that you & Alan came here to the Big E.
