Things in progress…

Here are a few things in the works:

A pink, purples & ribbon warp for scarves…

Stripes warp made by a student…

A wool warp…

My favourite turquoise and brown…

And the ends of another half and half scarf that I made. I decided that I wanted to make a scarf without a fringe. So I did a Phillipine edging with the threads and then took them back up into the weaving. Wow – took a long time, but nice to have a different finish for the scarf.

This image shows both sides – right and wrong side of the finish, before trimming the ends…

Happy Weaving,

Lovely warps! I just finished a sash made of Noro Silk Garden Lite. And didn’t want fringe, so just wove the ends back through. I’m new at this. I’ll have to look up the Philipine edging. Hope mine holds well without something like that. I did begin and end with a tightly packed finer yarn section.
