Cherry Blossom

Spring seemed slow to come this year, but when it did all the blossom trees were (and are) so beautiful to see. We were out one day and I was inspired by the many shades of pink and so I decided that my next Saori weaving would be a “Cherry Blossom” weaving.

Cherry Blossom

So, I set up my loom this past week with a shades of pink warp and have just started my weaving. I put on an 8-metre warp, so I’ll have lots to play with and many things to try. I hope to do my ‘weaving every day’ and see how it evolves.

I’ll keep you posted.
