And now for something different…
The excitement of a new warp. New colours. Stripes this time. And what it will become…
Starting…trying things…
Variegated yarn, rust with sparkle, white yarn, purple – and some stretchy yarn….
One end of the scarf has stretchy yarns …
at the other, 2 vertical button holes…
Washed and finished – with a heart button…
Button up with one button hole…
or both…
Now I still have many more metres to weave….
Happy Valentine’s Day & Happy Weaving,

Perfect for Valentine’s Day and the unfolding spring. Interesting how the vibrant warp and then the colourful weft ‘makes different’ the entire character of the endeavour. Lovely.
Ooooh, I love it Terri! It’s so different, but the colours look fabulous together. And of course I love the button! There should always be a button. It will continue to evolve over the many more metres you have – there are so many possibilities with this one. I can’t wait to see it.
Thanks Karen and Lynn! I wasn’t sure what things would look like with this warp – but wanted something very different from what I have been weaving. This warp did it. I was surprised and happy with how it turned out.
I had been imagining a solid colour button – but then in looking through my collection, the heart button seemed right for this time of year…
Happy Weaving
Wow I love it! So unusual for you! Way to give yourself a little push!
Oh, yes! the heart is POIFECK!!!!!!
And, I love seeing the new colorway- definitely a sign of new life!
Happy Valentine’s day! <3
What a lot of fun! You are so creative with your ideas. I remember you showing me that purse you created out of the old jeans.
I finished my weaving using the organic cloth. I want you here in Southern Ontario RIGHT NOW to show me how to sew it!!! (grin)
This is so cute! I am so looking forward to my warping board!
Thanks Tanya, Noreen, Gabriella & Judi….I really appreciate all your comments and viewpoints.
Gabriella – I look forward to seeing what you’ve woven on the organic warp – and to see what it becomes!!
Judi – I’ll let you know when it arrives here – so it can wing it’s way to you.
Happy Weaving all,
Terri
