A quick trip…

I just got back from a quick trip to Edmonton for my mom’s St. Patrick’s Day birthday! It was great to spend some time with my parents and also to see Tom & Tanya.

My mom and I wove a scarf together for her birthday…

It was definitely winter in Alberta. A lot of the snow had melted and the roads were dry when I arrived, but by the time I left…

I think it snowed every day! Good thing I keep my warm winter coat there.

While I was in Edmonton I wove a springtime daffodil scarf…

The warp is a bright green and yellow cotton that I purchased when I was in Argentina quite a few years ago…

When I was winding the warp, I tried to keep the colours together a bit to get an Ikat effect…

Back home last night – sunset from the ferry…

Happy Weaving,

Welcome home to Spring Terri. What a beautiful Daffodil scarf! I showed it to Tara and she said ‘I want to make that’… You got her inspired and talking even at a distance:) We hope you’re having a great week and look forward to seeing you soon. Yellow Daffodil Hugs, Eve and Tara
