The photo doesn’t really show the lovely detailing on the shirt, but here’s a close-up of the pattern…
On New Year’s Day I went out to the studio and stood looking at the colours, wondering what to weave. Well turquoise and brown just jumped out at me. The turquoise is a luscious bamboo from Jane Stafford Textiles and the brown is a fuzzy brown yarn called Peluche from Silk City Fibres.
I had a bit of a black warp left on one of my looms from some of my classes and so I just finished it off with these yarns…
So a little Saori Weaving for New Years. I’m currently thinking that I will make this into a little bag…
