Socktoberfest update

Back in October I decided to try knitting a pair of sox in celebration of Socktoberfest…

Socktoberfest blog entry…

Well Socktober changed into November and then December (Sockember perhaps) and finally on Christmas Eve my socks are finished and ready to be “hung by the chimney with care”….

I had been hoping that I would really love knitting sox as there are many people I’d like to make them for – it hasn’t happened yet.  My next try will be to learn to knit both sox at the same time on the circular needles.  Then at least I’d be done them both at the same time!

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much Ellen – I am happy to have finished them – and they fit well too! The patterned sock yarn makes them interesting to knit.

Thanks Noreen – yes, second sock syndrome & second-sockitis were both in danger of taking over….which is why it took so long to finish!
