In the studio, out and about…
I have a whole lot of photos of weaving that people have been doing lately. Some has been sent to me by SAORI weavers in the area, others has happened at the studio, and some are collaborative weavings from events that I have attended. These are just a selection…
From a collaborative community event in Victoria this summer:
Experiments by Nancy:
A poncho (made based on a pattern in the Self Discovery Saori book), woven by Tara, modeled by Andi:
A vest made by Sharron, inspired by Lynn:
From classes at the studio:
Some woven bags:
A mobius scarf (while still on the loom):
Weaving by Franky & John:
And this amazing tree that Tom & Tanya saw at the Winnipeg Folk Festival this year. They couldn’t find any info on who made it – but it is amazing!
Just a reminder – this weekend – August 21 is FIBRATIONS in Victoria.
Please join us if you can!
Happy Weaving,
Terri

So many beautiful weavings! Inspiring! I love John and Franky’s – it looks like a koi pond. Which gave me ideas for a weaving with my Koi Pond yarn from Melonhead Knitwear. 🙂
Hey it’s a virtual Koi Kai! Really appreciate seeing everyone’s pieces. What a colourful array of personalities. Good to “meet you” in your weavings. So much fun.
