Project Spectrum – PS4 (North)
Project Spectrum is currently focusing on:
NORTH (March/April)
Color: Green
Material: Stones/Gems/Rocks
Season: Winter
Element: Earth
Some Salt Spring Island photos of inspiration for me …
I decided to knit a ‘verona-style’ shawl (as described by Lolly – Lolly Knits). It is a cross between a scarf and a shawl and can be worn in different ways.
Ms. Snickers inspects the finished shawl…
Another way to wear it. I love how the colours reflect the mossy colours of the background
I have enjoyed this simple knitting, while travelling on the ferry, while watching TV, while waiting or just to relax. A simple stockinette stitch – knit one row, purl one row …
Happy Knitting, Weaving, and whatever else you might be doing for Project Spectrum….
Terri
Shhh…don’t tell my mom – it’s her belated birthday present!

Your blog entry made the Google Alerts again, which is where I saw it first.
Absolutely inspiring pictures for Project Spectrum/North!
I love the soft look of the mossy patterned shawl. Cute picture of Snickers with the shawl too.
Oops! I just read the last sentence. (Wow! Yippee!!) Shhh… don’t tell Terri.
What beautiful photographs Terri, taken with your artist eye.
There is something very satisfying about a piece of plain knitting and a pretty colour yarn.
I’m enjoying the Saori book, the garment ideas in it are really inspiring.
Petra Irene looks stunning in her spring green finery. This inspires me to finish the mobias scarf I wove when we were out in November, it is green and I want to finish it with glass beads or perhaps green stones!
Thanks Mom – Southey Point photos – very much the inspiration along with the moss near our Peace Park….sending it this week…
Thanks Doe – though dh Alan gets the photo credits. Happy that you are enjoying the endless possibilities of Saori!
Thanks Tracy! So glad that it is an inspiration – the green stones or glass beads sound wonderful – I look forward to pictures!
Happy Weaving,
Terri
Petra Ilean never looked so good. She looks good in the outdoors. Great scawl bythe way.
The photos are just gorgeous and the shawl is, too….
big hugs
